Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-24
International terms for the Konoda House Affiliate Program.
1. Parties and relationship
The program is operated by Magna Products Oy, trading as Konoda House. An approved affiliate is an independent contractor and is not an employee, agent, partner, franchisee, or joint venture participant of the merchant. The affiliate may not bind the merchant or make representations on its behalf.
2. Registration and approval
Applicants must provide accurate legal identity, residence, tax residence, contact, and payout information. An applicant may be an individual, sole proprietor/freelancer, or company/business. VAT, GST, sales tax, or business registration information is collected only where applicable. Approval is discretionary and may be withdrawn for compliance, fraud, brand, or operational reasons.
3. Tracking and attribution
Sales and anonymous referral-link visits are tracked through the assigned referral link, code, cookies, or other program technology. Where the browser provides it, we may record the referrer URL for click analytics. The applicable attribution window and first-touch rules are those shown in the program documentation at the time of the sale. Tracking data is not guaranteed where a browser, device, network, or customer action prevents attribution.
4. Commissions and invalid transactions
Commission amounts are recorded in the transaction currency and are not automatically treated as VAT-inclusive or VAT-exclusive. Rates are those displayed or agreed for the relevant program period. No commission is due on cancelled, refunded, charged-back, fraudulent, self-referred, duplicate, test, or otherwise invalid transactions. We may reverse or offset commissions after a payout where a transaction later becomes invalid.
5. Balances and payout
Balances are maintained separately by source currency and are paid out in EUR only. USD commissions may be converted to EUR using a rate recorded by the merchant before the payout. The merchant records the source currency, source amount, exchange rate, rate timestamp, rate source, converted amount, and final EUR total. Payments are made manually by bank transfer or PayPal, with PayPal available only to individual/private-person affiliates. The affiliate is responsible for any conversion or receiving fees applied by its bank or PayPal.
For operational efficiency and to avoid numerous small transactions, payouts are processed four times per year, normally on 30 January, 30 April, 30 July, and 30 October, subject to banking days, checks, and operational availability. The minimum available balance for a payout is EUR 50. If the threshold is not reached, the balance rolls over to the next payout date and no partial payout is due. We may delay a payout while verifying transactions, identity, tax or bank information, refunds, chargebacks, fraud, compliance, or other payment risks. Payment is manual and is not an invoice, self-billing, or tax document.
6. Taxes and documents
The affiliate is solely responsible for determining and meeting tax, reporting, registration, invoicing, VAT/GST/sales tax, withholding, and other obligations applicable to its circumstances and tax residence. No account type or tax structure is universally valid. We may request appropriate tax or commercial documents before payment where required by law, payment controls, or the nature of the relationship. The merchant does not provide tax advice.
7. Marketing, advertising, and trademarks
Affiliate marketing must be truthful, identifiable, lawful, and compliant with applicable advertising, consumer protection, platform, and disclosure rules. Do not make unsupported claims, use spam, impersonate Konoda House, bid on prohibited brand terms, register confusing domains, or alter our products or trademarks. Brand assets may be used only as authorised and must be removed on request or termination.
8. Privacy and security
The affiliate must process personal data lawfully, provide required notices, obtain required permissions, use reasonable security, and avoid sharing customer data with us unless authorised and necessary. The affiliate must promptly report suspected abuse or data incidents connected with the program. Our processing is described in the applicable Privacy Policy.
9. Termination and changes
Either party may end participation according to applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we may reject an application, suspend or restrict an account, disable a referral link, withhold or review commissions, or terminate participation at our discretion, with or without cause and with or without prior notice. Examples include suspected fraud, unlawful or misleading conduct, abuse, breach, brand or reputational risk, payment or compliance risk, inactivity, operational reasons, or any conduct that we reasonably consider harmful to the program or its users. We do not promise continued access, continued rates, continued attribution, or a minimum volume of commissions.
After suspension or termination, we may complete validation and chargeback checks before paying any undisputed eligible balance. We may cancel or withhold commissions connected with invalid, disputed, suspicious, or non-compliant activity, and may offset amounts owed to us. Nothing in these Terms requires us to continue the relationship or limits rights and liabilities that cannot be excluded by applicable law. We may change rates, tracking rules, payout rules, or these Terms by publishing an updated version or giving reasonable notice where appropriate.
10. International provisions
The parties recognise that affiliates may reside in different jurisdictions and that mandatory local laws may apply. Except for mandatory protections, these Terms are governed by the law applicable to the merchant, and disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction after a good-faith attempt to resolve them. Nothing here creates a universal tax result or removes non-waivable rights.
11. Liability and events outside our control
The program, tracking, reporting, links, and payout timing are provided on an availability basis and may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages, loss of traffic, loss of data, bank conversion costs, or a missed opportunity arising from participation in the program. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including payment provider, banking, platform, network, legal, regulatory, or technology failures. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
