Terms of service

1. Who we are and scope

Konoda House is a brand of Magna Products Oy, Kalevalankatu 15, 32200 Loimaa, Finland (VAT FI34651004). We sell print-at-home investigative digital adventures (PDFs and related materials) at https://konodahouse.com. Contact: hello@konodahouse.com.

By using the site, creating an account or buying a product you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and guest checkout

You may buy as a guest (file access by email) or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

Accounts are standard customer accounts; the app has no admin or moderator roles for users.

If you register with the same email used for a guest purchase, purchased cases may be linked to your library.

3. Digital products

Cases are digital content typically delivered as PDFs (case materials, solution guide, print instructions and related files).

After purchase you receive a download link by email. If you have an account, products also appear in your library.

Prices include taxes shown at checkout. Currency may vary by shop language (e.g. EUR / USD).

Free previews help you evaluate a case; they do not include the full case or solution.

4. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, print and play purchased materials for private, family or small friend-group use.

You may not resell, publicly redistribute, upload to sharing sites, sublicense, or use the content in commercial products or services without our written permission.

All intellectual property rights in the content remain with Konoda House or the respective rights holders.

5. Payments and delivery

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.

An order is complete when payment succeeds. We store an entitlement tied to your email (and account, if any).

Download links sent after purchase do not expire. If you have an account, you can also re-download from your library. If something fails: hello@konodahouse.com.

6. Withdrawal and refunds

Cases are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Before payment we ask you to confirm that you want immediate access to the files and that you accept losing the withdrawal right once performance begins (download or access to the PDF), under applicable EU consumer rules.

If a file is defective, incomplete or inaccessible due to our error, contact hello@konodahouse.com: we will provide a new link or, if needed, a refund.

Refunds for change of mind after digital content has been made available are not offered, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

7. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the site (aggressive scraping, unauthorized access attempts, fraudulent use of codes or download links, interference with infrastructure).

We may suspend accounts, invalidate links or refuse orders in case of abuse, fraud or breach of these terms.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service reasonably available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, maintenance windows or temporary errors.

We may update products, prices, features and these terms. Material changes may be communicated on the site or by email.

9. Limitation of liability

We provide the service and content with reasonable care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss or lost profits arising from use of the site or products.

Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law and contact

Except for mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence, the laws of the operator’s country apply. We will first try to resolve disputes amicably.
